About the Speaker

Christopher Suchanek has been elbows deep in brand promotion, reaching audiences and building awareness before he even knew that it was called marketing. He began creating buzz for up and coming artists turned rock stars through marketing projects for EMI Music Publishing, Risk Records, Ocean Records, RCA Records, Tooth & Nail Records and Slog Records. Chris has also contributed to projects developed by VH1, MTV and Warner Brothers and holds over 35 executive production credits which has helped many of his products gain national distribution. Chris later served as director of marketing and publicity for Brainstorm Artists International (formerly Broken Records), a Huntington Beach-based record label with global distribution which helped bridge the gap between Christian alternative music and the secular scene and garnered Grammy and Dove nominations and awards for its artists.

When the Internet revolutionized marketing, Chris was ready. He progressed naturally to Internet marketing, where his creativity and success helped develop some of the most prominent domains and web directories, including PlasticSurgery.com and CosmeticSurgery.com. As the realm of Internet marketing continued to change and evolve, Chris recognized an underserved sector in this relatively new industry: businesses who were ready to embrace the full potential Internet marketing but also longed for a way to track their results and understand the true value that these campaigns created. With this in mind, Chris set about devising a repeatable, accountable system and building a solid team that consistently creates high quality products. And thus Firm Media was born.

Today, Chris is Firm Media’s CEO and president and spends countless hours honing and improving its products and services to create the best possible results for each client. Throughout the years, he’s worked with some excellent companies and has learned the immeasurable value of truly listening to the client. Chris takes great pride in forging meaningful, long term relationships with clients by creating customized solutions that drive quality results year after year.

“Change always benefits someone. Don’t resist it – embrace it. Step up and become the person that change benefits.” – Chris Suchanek, Chief Executive Officer.

by James Flaherty

Usually, when people reflect on what their life is, they concentrate on questions like:

~ Am I achieving my goals?
~ Am I paying sufficient attention to people important to me?
~ Am I making the right plans for the future?
~ Am I leaving a legacy?
~ Am I happy?

Given that so many of us do not reflect at all, this list is a pretty good start. These questions, though, exist at the conventional level of understanding our life and, consequently, can at most provide some clarity and impetus to correct. They provide more depth than when we are busy/overwhelmed/buried, but are not sufficiently penetrating to cast over our accumulated survival strategies, denial mechanisms, fear-based greed, inner critic domination, and our making everyone—including ourselves—into objects subjugated by these goals.

If the point of reflection is to return to ourselves, to re-occupy our authenticity, and to embrace the truth as fully as we can (which I think it is), then we have to find topics that are different than the questions above open up.

I think the trouble with the questions listed is that they start with the premise that my fundamental task is to find out how to navigate the world to get what they—the questions—are aimed at. They allow no unique calling or destiny, but are a list of socially sanctioned concerns validated by the agreement of those around us.

Let’s start somewhere else then.

What if each of us has a mysterious destiny that reveals itself in the midst of the daily circumstances that feel so inescapable, relentless, pointless and painful?

What if all this suffering is a compassionate wearing away of all that is not consistent with our destiny?

What if our daily difficulties are precisely perfect for developing the strength to live our destiny?

Engaging with these “what-if” questions takes a courageous inquiry. We have no proof that it will be worthwhile, but we do have examples of others who have gone before us: people who have quieted themselves enough to hear the whispering call, and have consequently re-contextualized the whole of their lives so that they can live out their destiny.

Can we, even in the furthest stretches of our imagination, accept that little unremarkable me could be the vehicle of a unique destiny (like a princess/prince in waiting, or the recognized reincarnation of a wonderful spiritual teacher)? With what dignity, honor and devotion would we treat ourselves and others if we recognized that we are more than an accident of biological coupling?

Here are some suggested reflective questions arising from this new premise:

* How are my current life circumstances clarifying what my destiny is?

* Am I being true to my destiny as I currently know it, in my actions, relationships, attitudes, commitments and practices?

* How am I furthering my exploration of my destiny in how I’m living each day?

* In what ways am I honoring myself and everyone I meet as the holder of a unique destiny?

This exploration is the most powerful antidote to our toxic busyness that I have found up to now. I invite you to take it up for yourself.

It’s an inevitable part of coaching. Sometimes the connection with our clients is great—there’s energy and flow and the coaching feels effortless—and then sometimes the coaching feels hard and flops around, and we’re not sure how to get back. What makes it even worse is when we get stuck in a mindtrap and can’t quite figure how to get out.

I don’t care how new or experienced you are, this occurs more often than you think and it’s hard to prevent. As a result, your coaching is not nearly as effective and impactful as you believe it to be.

In other words, once that disconnect happens, and it invariably does, there’s little hope.

Until now.

This interactive and fun workshop shows you three incredibly easy and amazingly powerful techniques that will not only get you instantly “out of your head” but get you back “into your client.” Armed with this knowledge and experience, your coaching will be more confident and empowered. In other words, you’re on the path to Your Coaching Magnificence.

Hey, new coaches! Although this workshop deals with some Advanced Coaching techniques, you’ll find that it is pretty easy to grasp. Not only that, but after this, you’ll have a more solid foundation of client connection upon which to build your coaching skills in your training.

But suppose you’ve already gotten your coach training. That’s Perfect. This material is an excerpt from the more detailed and advanced “Fast Pass to Master Coaching” teleclass, designed to take what you’ve learned and dig it even deeper and help you grow more quickly into that powerful Master Level coach.

However, if you’re one of those experienced coaches, then you’re cordially invited to join in the fun. Sure, you may know this stuff already, but most likely not in this specific context. And it’s always great to get a little spark to your coaching, isn’t it?

Well, this workshop is full of sparks that other MCCs and experienced coaches have found great value in. in other words, you just might learn something that will sharpen your coaching even more.

There is truly something here for everyone, and after attending, your coaching will never be the same.

The bottom line is that there are plenty of resources to teach you how to coach. THIS workshop is designed to teach you how to begin to COACH MASTERFULLY.

If you’re looking for that “extra boost” to your coaching, if you feel like something’s missing, if you wonder if there’s more to learn, if you think that there’s more to your coaching that you’re tapping into, if you believe there is a Master Coach within aching to come out, then THIS IS THE WORKSHOP FOR YOU!

Topic: To be or not be an accredited coach and how that impacts the future of your coaching career

ICF is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches. No matter what level you are as a coach, seasoned and beginner coaches will find value in the panel discussion as each school representative will share their perspective on the future of coaching. You will gain an understanding of the process and requirements for going through an ICF accredited school, as well as what it takes to become credentialed as an ACC, PCC, and MCC.

If a person is curious about coaching as a profession, or already an established coach looking to become credentialed, then this event is a must. Discover whether or not being an accredited coach would benefit you and your coaching practice, and learn what are the benefits to going through an ICF approved school. The interactive conversation will also address what is happening with the changes occurring within ICF and the requirements for membership, and how that relates to the direction of coaching as a profession.

You will walk away with a deeper understanding of

What is coaching from the perspective of ICF approved schools

The emerging coaching profession through the eyes of ICF schools and whether accreditation is right for you

What are the requirements to become an ICF Credentialed Coach and how that impacts your coaching practice
