ICF–OC Is Offering A New Teleclass! Posted by icfoc on Monday, November 28, 2011
Join Mina Watkins as she hosts the very first teleclass for ICF Orange County with special guest Michael Neill.
The Supercoach Approach: Transformative Coaching and the Three Levels of Change
Traditional coaching takes place primarily on a horizontal dimension – coaches assist their clients in getting from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’. Yet lasting, sustainable change nearly always happens in the vertical dimension – a deepening of the ground of being of the client and greater access to inspiration and spiritual wisdom. While this has generally led to an either/or approach to success and personal growth, transformative coaching creates a shift in levels on the vertical dimension which lead to powerful changes in a client’s experience and results.
In this interactive presentation, Michael Neill will share stories and answer questions from his 20+ years as a personal and professional coach to both explain and model how to utilize what he calls “the space where miracles happen” – a space from which clients not only create extraordinary results, but also experience less stress and a deeper sense of clarity and wellbeing.
Date: Monday, December 19th, 2011
Time : 5:00 – 6:30pm Pacific Standard Time
Cost: $15.00 for non-members
About Michael Neill
Michael Neill is an internationally renowned success coach and the best-selling author of You Can Have What You Want, Feel Happy Now!, the Effortless Success audio program and Supercoach: 10 Secrets to Transform Anyone’s Life. He has spent the past 21 years as a coach, adviser, friend, mentor and creative spark plug to celebrities, CEO’s, royalty, and people who want to get more out of their lives. The Art of Masterful Coaching with Patricia Hirsch
How does a coach begin to recognize what is important and when there is something underneath what the client is saying? How does a coach recognize their clients’ emotions that may in fact be getting in the way of clearly choosing a powerful life? When is it best to ask for permission? What can the client hope to gain if the coach is authentic in their observations? How does the coach put his agenda on the back burner and the client’s first and foremost? When is it important to interrupt what the client is saying? For the sake of what is your client hiring you?
Patricia sees herself as an ordinary woman who has experienced extraordinary circumstances. She has had the privilege of seeking out and being mentored by thought leaders who have left her with the realization that life is a little bit like dancing on JELL-O. Patricia will share what she notices has worked with coaching her clients and will demonstrate masterful coaching from an ontological perspective (ontology = the study of being; human).
She has been mentoring new coaches from the ICF Core Competencies and in accordance with the International Coach Federation requirements for the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentials. She will share with you and demonstrate with you from the distinctions of a Master Certified Coach trained in the ontological model.
