Featured Speaker: Organizational Coaching Bloopers from Around the World, Lessons from a Global Executive Coach Posted by Linda Hodge on Tuesday, August 25, 2009
Organizational Coaching Bloopers from Around the World, Lessons from a Global Executive Coach with Agnes Mura! Our featured headliner for our monthly 2nd Thursday meeting, October 8th 7:30-9:00 p.m, is sure to be hit!
Ready to learn from those dramatic moments in our coaching practice we’d rather not remember? Ready to jointly think about what was missing when a coaching assignment disappointed some stakeholders? Ready to open your minds to alternative approaches? An old hand in global leadership coaching will share her learnings, candidly, examining the causes and solutions of many common breakdowns. Since she not only works internationally, but works with executives who have global reach, she will enlarge our horizon by discussing how effective coaching has to vary from one corporate or national culture to another.
Take-aways:
– Organizational coaching failures, bloopers and how to prevent them.
– The limitations of trying to change minds just with the mind, and how to reach the whole person.
– Dimensions of culture and how to use them in any culturally complex situation, from ethnic culture to firm-specific ones.
